A Psalm of David.

1 To You, O Lord,
    do I lift up my soul.

2 O my God, I trust in You;
    may I not be ashamed;
    may my enemies not triumph over me.
3 Yes, let none who wait on You
    be ashamed;
let them be ashamed
    who transgress without cause.
